Konvensyen Belia BSMM Daerah Petaling

One of our advisors had an opportunity to participate in a Youth Convention (Konvensyen Belia). The convention that was organised by Jawatankuasa Belia BSMM Daerah Petaling was held in Hotel Mercure, Selayang. The event started at 8.00am and ended around the 6.00pm.

The event was attended by youth from all walks of life including school students, college and university students, working sectors as well as educators. The event started with welcoming speech by En Ahmad Azeem Bin Ahmad Raslan (Pengerusi Belia BSMM Daerah Petaling) followed by officiating speech given by Prof Madya Dr Abdul Ali Bin Raja Mohamed (Timbalan Pengerusi BSMM Negeri Selangor).

The event then continued with a talk on Youth Role in Shah Alam Flood Tragedy and Covid-19 given by En Ahmad Azeem. After that series of talks were given by prominent members of MRC such as Tuan Palany A/L Murugayah (Pengarah BSMM Negeri Selangor) on BSMM Rules, Regulations and Roadmap; Pn Suhana Binti Sidik (Naib Pengerusi BSMM Kebangsaan) on Disaster & Pandemic Volunteer Experience; Datuk Dr. Mohamed Alwi Bin Hj Abdul Rahman (Pengerusi BSMM Daerah Petaling) on Prehospital Care and Disaster Management before ended up with a RedTalk Sharing Session where all participants are given the opportunities to shout out their viewpoints.

World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day Celebration 2023

Our school’s Malaysian Red Crescent Society had organise a school level celebration of World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day for the year 2023. Due to the hot weather, the event was held in a much simple and short ceremony. The event which was held at the Open Hall, SK Jalan U3 was attended by our headmaster of SK Jalan U3, En. Md Hishamuddin Bin Md Yaacob, teacher-officer and all MRCS members. The programme included the singing of the National and MRCS anthem, pledge recitation, speech by the student representative, and officiating speech by the headmaster. Inspired by the themes of ‘Everything We Do Comes #fromtheheart’ and ‘MRCS: 75 years of humanitarian movement’, the event ended with a short poetry performance.

Perhatian kepada semua ahli BSMM! Kursus secara atas talian bagi Pendidikan Palang Merah dan Bulan Sabit Merah akan dianjurkan sperti ketetapan berikut. Bagi murid yang berminat untuk menyertai kursus ini, sila maklumkan kepada mana-mana guru penasihat BSMM SK Jalan U3.
