Malaysian Red Crescent Society of SK Jalan U3 had organised a special assembly to celebrate the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day at the school level. The event was attended by all the teachers as well as the students of SK Jalan U3 and officiated by the headmaster, En. Mohd Rozali Bin Senik.
The assembly started with the recitation of doa, singing of the national and BSMM anthem as well as the recitation of BSMM pledge. The event then had invited Muhammad Aliyy Abqariy bin Abdullah, Head of BSMM for Year 6 to deliver his speech. After the ceremony was successfully officiated, our headmaster had kindly made an in-promtu quiz complete with a bunch of presents by asking the students about the history of red cross and red crescent society.
Students and teachers were then entertained with an action song performance entitled Kindness. The selection of the song was in line with this year's theme of HumanKind which was proposed by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Society (IFRC). The performance portrayed simple acts of kindness that eventually would make huge difference such as being kind to animals, environment, friends, elders, neighbours, and the people in need.
The ceremony ended with a prize giving ceremony for the four most active MRC members in the 2021. The award was given to Muhammad Aliyy Abqariy Bin Abdullah, Muhammad Ameer Danish Bin Mihd Shariman, Amir Adam Radzi Bin Abdullah and Wan Muhammad Akmal Bin Wan Hisyamuddin for having participating in numerous national level MRC webinars thoughout the year 2021.
